Chefs For Farmers is more than a festival — it's a celebration of Texas flavors and community, rooted in purpose.

Founded by Iris Midler in 2010, Chefs For Farmers (CFF) has grown into a multi-location, multi-day food and wine festival where farmers work directly with local chefs, fostering meaningful relationships and expanding business opportunities across the region.

Our annual festivals in Dallas and Houston, as well as curated events throughout the year, proudly showcase top culinary talent for unforgettable experiences, while supporting invaluable farmers and producers who grow, harvest, and supply the ingredients that bring culinary culture to life.

Welcome to Chefs For Farmers: Texas’ biggest food & wine celebration!

Why this matters to us

What CFF does for the community

Local Farms

Every event we produce sources directly from regional farms. That's intentional. We believe local agriculture is worth protecting, and one of the best ways to do that is to keep money in the hands of the people doing the growing.

Local Chefs

The chefs we work with aren't just talented — they're connected to where their food comes from. CFF gives them a stage to show that relationship and share it with the people who come to eat.

Local Impact

Each year we choose a charity partner whose values align with ours. Not as a checkbox, but because it matters to us that this festival leaves something behind beyond a good meal.

eat good.
feel good.
do good.

At CFF, its our mission to champion local farmers, chefs, and producers, promote sustainable practices, and foster meaningful connections within our communities. Each year, a portion of ticket proceeds supports nonprofit partners advancing education, agriculture, and community sustainability. Past beneficiaries include The Seed Project Foundation, Giving Tree Acres in Dallas, Houston Food Bank, Urban Harvest, and New Friends New Life.
